Designed in accordance with IEC 62196‑3:2026 Clause 16.16, this withdrawal force tester is specially applied to verify insertion force of EV charging interfaces. It checks whether the maximum plug-in force between charging gun and vehicle inlet complies with standard requirements: fix the charging gun vertically, load standard main weight on it, then let a 0.8kg weight free fall from 5cm height to impact the main weight, and the charging gun shall be fully inserted into the inlet to specified contact position after impact.

The 0.8kg weight free falling from 5cm is defined by IEC 62196‑3:2026 Clause 16.16 for EV charging inlet insertion impact inspection, and SNQC1013A is the dedicated tester to implement this standard test. The falling weight simulates the inertia impact when users plug in charging guns, verifying whether the charging gun can lock into full contact position after impact. Omitting this standardized drop test will bring uneven plug-in resistance, bad contact and thermal risks during charging, causing certification failure and after-sales safety problems, so SNQC1013A is indispensable quality control equipment to verify charging inlet insertion property.
